Palliative Care

Lord’s care provides specialised care support for people with serious illness.

It focuses on providing patients with relief from symptoms, pain and stress, whatever the diagnosis. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the client and the family within the home environment. Lord’s care believe that having control of your own are package and choice of location is a positive factor when coping with serious illness.

Lord’s care will work together with GP’s and other health professionals to create an individualized plan of care, in agreement with the client and family. Lord’s care aim to provide an extra layer of support without disrupting the family dynamic but relieving the challenge of physical care.

Flexible support is provided when the needs arises, and supports the whole person and their family, recognising that needs and wishes change overtime requiring adjustment in care provision. Lord’s care can provide day and night care, timed visits and 24 /7 care.
